norditropin left out last night

Hey Everyone,

I know this has been brought up before on the list, but I don't

remember what the answer was.

We just found out that we left 's growth hormone out last

night. She is on Norditrophin. I called the cust. service number and

of course they're not there on Saturdays.

Does anyone know if it goes bad overnight by not being the fridge?

Usually gh is good for at least 24 hours if left out of the

refrigerator. Max uses Humatrope and that is good for up to 72 hours

out of the fridge.

If you are afraid to use the vial, then why don't you mix a new one

and call the company on Monday? The vial should be good for 14 days.

Another thing I have heard about is companies replacing vials if we do

something like leaving them out or not mixing them correctly.

Thanks, that makes me feel a little better. I think I will use a new pen until

Monday, just to be on the safe side.
