My daughter was aslo taken via c-section at 36 weeks for not growing in womb/low fluid. She did the exact same thing that Summer did. She turned blue and her heart rate dropped very low. Luckliy this was while we were being discharged from the NICU to go home. The nurses ran over and got her to breathe. They kept her in for 2 more weeks and did all of the tests that Summer had done. They said it was probably Reflux and I had to pump and put rice cereal in her bottle for 2 months so the milk wouldn't rise back up and tip into her tracea? and choke her. She wore an apnea moniter for 6 months and had a lot more episodes at home. The moniter was so helpful in letting me sleep because I knew it would go off if Mia stopped breathing for more than 20 seconds. She outgrew the reflux. At 2 months I started breastfeeding her (amazinly she took right to the breast after 2 months with the bottle!) I hope this helps and I will be thinking about you! nne (Mom to Mia SGA/RSS 31 months, 21 pounds) > too, I was told because couldnt grow righ in womb, so once out it > shot up catch up growth to 50% and ther has sstayed, but her body > never caught up.
