I've noticed a small (size of a dime) bald spot on our LO's head. We have the STAR band, 1.5 months down, hopefully another 1.5 months to go. I was worried that hair would never grow back, but maybe there's hope.

I did notice a spot that was definitely thinner hair and it was in the same place as a pressure holding spot. I don't know if I would call it hair loss per se because my daughter was just about bald to begin with so maybe the helmet just delayed the hair growth in that spot...She's been out of the helmet for 1.5 months (and her hair in that spot is just as thick as the rest of her head now) and will get her second band in 2 weeks.>> I was just curious if anyone noticed any lose of hair with their childs DOC band? Our son had thinning with his band. If you are concerned about complete balding in the area, bring it up to your tech.
