Guest guest
Yadira, What a small world this is!!! My husband is from Jersey City and my father-in-law still lives there. He is in College Towers, near New Jersey City University and the Miss America Diner. Do you know where they are? You are only about 35 minutes from me! Hey, next Saturday, the 13th, Briggs and Jodie Cals are coming over for a barbecue with their kids and husbands. Oops - won't bring her husband because he has to work. Would you like to join us? We can all hang out on our deck and the kids can run around in the backyard. I may get my daughter (almost 20) to do some sort of craft with them just to give them more to do. She is very good at that stuff. Please email me through this listserve or privately at magicrss@ hotmail.com. (no space - the listserve won't show the address if we don't put in a space) You can also call me, but I'd rather give you my phone number privately. There is a GREAT GI doctor in town who knows a lot about RSS, mostly because of Max. Now he has other RSS kids, too, so he is learning more and more. I can certainly provide you with his info if you'd like. Also, since you are in Jersey City, you should really consider taking your son to Dr. Harbison at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in NY. She is one of the world's experts on RSS and is a true godsend. There is nothing she won't do to help our kids. Max was her third RSS patient and we have been with her for about 16 years. Now she has over 130, probably closer to 150 at this point that she sees in NY alone. (She sees other in Chicago at the yearly MAGIC Convention in July.) And, would you believe, her secretary is named Yadira, too? I can give you the phone numbers for both doctors. I hope you really consider joining us on Saturday. It would be really great for you to see RSS kids at various ages and stages in life. And we are a friendly group of people. Jodi Z
