Guest guest
Hi All, First of all, thanks to all of you who post and share information. It is so helpful. My son Sawyer is 7.5 months. He has mostly flattening of his head across the entire back with a little asymetry. I would probably categorize his as mild to medium, in other words, you have to look closely to recognize his condition. He just received his helmet on Monday. They mentioned because of his head shape, it will move around a little more because there are not a lot of " gripping " points. In my opinion, it seems pretty loose and gets close to blocking his vision if he moves his head a certain way. Also, when he sleeps, it moves to where the " cheek " pieces are on his ears. Is this normal or has anyone else had any experience with this? thank you so much for any responses. I just want to make sure if we do all this, that its working properly. Thanks Christi
Guest guest
We have a starband and it moves some but not where it covers the eyes. I would definitely check back with the orthotist. Guest guest
Christi, My son is 7 months and we have been in the helmet for a week. We had to go see about getting the helmet adjusted because his is moving also while he sleeps they told me today that he will grow into it other than that they couldn't adjust it. It is very scary to me when he is sleeping that it will turn and I won't know it. I guess you could call and ask, but we had no luck today. > > Hi All, > First of all, thanks to all of you who post and share information. It is so helpful. > > My son Sawyer is 7.5 months.
