Guest guest
I am, at almost 5 months out, amongst the no complications folks. I had one period of " what the hell have I done " at 2 weeks, when typical post op issues...not complications...struck. These soon passed and at 6 weeks things leveled out and have only gotten better. I'm so glad I made the decision to have a DS, even though I was a comparitive 'lightweight', having less than 100 lbs to lose. I also had uncontrolled hypertension and a family history of stroke and heart problems. I am 58 and was trly worried about not having a healthy graceful mature lifestyle..of becoming a burden on my children and husband...of not living to see my grandchildren grow up. My health is so much better not, my PCP and I are both elated with the results and I look good along with having better health. When all is said and done, WLS is well worth every consideration. Blessings and peace crone elle in oregon-70 lbs gone, size 24 to a lose size 16 and feeling wonderful...all in 5 short months
