Dear Ann,

I had a fully lap BPD/DS that was totally complication free. I was

also blessed with a very smooth and easy recovery plus terrific

weight loss. I went back full-time to my office job as a CFO 11 days

post-op. I had a very easy adjustment to my " new plumbing " . I would

do it again in a second. My friend of 6 years had a fully Lap BPD/DS

on 8/30/01. She is 44 yrs. and started out at about 340 lbs. She

too, has enjoyed a complication free surgery and recovery and she

went back to work at her salon 12 days post-op. I think that

complications are more of an exception than a rule. Good luck to you.
