Guest guest
> >>What type of immune system support are you talking about with the > enzymes ? Is it something like Transfer Factor to boost the immune or another type of supplement? There are so many that it is confusing. Is TF an enzyme or are you talking about Enzyme/Peptizyde that help boost the immune system? I wanted to find you some references for enzymes role in building the immune system, and the benefits when taking enzymes between meals. You can find tons of information by searching for enzyme therapy, immune system and enzymes, detox and enzymes, digestive enzymes, etc. I am not sure how this is different than the transfer factors, but they are different. If you read through these articles, this will explain how the enzymes work...and then you will need to read on the TF to see how they work (sorry, I just don't know). TF is not an enzyme though. Straight enzymes products like EnzymAid Complete and Peptiyzde and Zyme Prime (and many others) can helps with immune system support, especially the proteases. Proteases act like Pac-man type elements and go through the gut and blood cleaning out all the garbage (toxins, wastes, free radical, infections and inflammations). They selectively only attack " dead " items, not living cells and tissue. Before the 1960s, bromelain, a standard protease, was commonly used for burn victims to keep the wounds cleaned out. Let me know if you need anything else. . ---------------------------------------- 1. http://turnpike.net/~health/infinity2/proteolytic_enzymes.html Scientific literature supporting the anti-inflammatory benefits of proteases includes a study called " Oral proteolytic enzymes in the treatment of athletic injuries: a double blind study " published in The Pennsylvania Medical Journal 68 (10): 35-7 1965, and more specific studies such as " Oral Anti-inflammatory Enzyme Therapy in Injuries in Professional Footballers, " The Practitioner 198: 543-6 (1967). Compared with subjects administered a placebo, those who were given oral proteases showed significant reductions in healing time from various sports-related injuries, including bruising, swelling and other traumas. In support of the immune system, proteolytic enzymes are the mediators of the body's defense and homeostatic mechanisms. Studies in vitro and in vivo have shown that protease of endogenous or exogenous origin can directly alter lymphocyte responses in a dose- dependent manner. Both lymphocytes and microphages expose cell surface protease in response to antigens and during antibody production ( & Ziccardi: New York: Academic Press 1976). Overall, highly active proteolytic enzymes enhance and strengthen the immune system; ward off antigens, food and airborne allergies; break up toxic waste and cellular debris; and aid in circulation by modulating the presence of Circulating Immune Complexes (ClCs) within the body. 2. http://members.home.net/health2000/antyoxi.html This is an easy to read overview of benefits of enzymes between meals as besides just digesting food. Purify blood Strengthen the Immune System Break down fats Lower Cholesterol Enhance mental capacity Cleanse the colon Enhance Sleep Sheds excess weight & fat Improve aging skin Bacteria balance in the colon 3. http://home1.gte.net/alohadoc/enzdisz.htm Enzymes and their relation to disease 4. http://www.gethealthyagain.com/enzymes.html Digestive System Basics " When your food is poorly digested, you absorb nutrients that aren't fully broken down or usable. Your immune system will attack and defend your body against partially digested foods that get into the bloodstream, because the immune system doesn't recognize it as food. It sees a toxic invader and destroys the food. When this happens you don't get the benefit of that food and you weaken your immune system by using it in a role it shouldn't be involved in. In other words, you are using the immune system and metabolic enzymes daily to clean the bloodstream of undigested food particles, instead of having their full strength to protect and repair the human body. " Taking Digestive Enzymes Between Meals Looking at live blood samples under a dark field microscope, you can actually see what's going on inside the blood. Here are some of the unhealthy conditions seen even in people who think they're healthy: -Red blood cells sticking together (which can be caused by very sticky undigested proteins). This condition can lead to poor circulation, migraine headaches and chronic fatigue. -Cholesterol and uric acid crystals (which can lead to arthritis or gout). -Plaque, caused by undigested fats and undigested proteins, which can lead to arteriosclerosis. The before and after blood tests have proven: -Digestive enzyme formulation when taken between meals or on an empty stomach will go directly into the blood stream and clean up the blood. -Including fat and protein deposits left in the body from years of past poor eating habits. Plaque is partially caused by undigested fats and undigested proteins that build up on the walls of the arteries. If it builds up enough, you've got clogged arteries. Taken on an empty stomach these enzymes will help clean up the arteries. Taking digestive enzymes with each meal helps digest the food you're eating. Which means less sludge in your bloodstream and less sludge in the intestinal track and colon... and if you take three enzyme capsules every day on an empty stomach, the additional benefits are so numerous they would be a shame to miss. Taken on an empty stomach (meaning you haven't eaten any thing for at least 2 hours) these enzymes go directly into the bloodstream and... -digest proteins, assimilate fats, stimulate the immune system, increase energy, kill bacteria, eliminate toxins, improve circulation, dissolve uric acid crystals, break up cholesterol deposits. Increase white blood cell size and activity, raise T-cell activity and production and increase the surface area of the red blood cell. Which makes it possible to carry more oxygen to all parts of the body. Clinical studies referenced in the book " Enzymes, The Fountains Of Life " show that a good enzyme formulation has the capability of increasing and elevating the immune system activity by as much as 700 to 1300 percent within one hour after ingesting.
