Guest guest
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THOSE DOCTORS!!! I live in Delray Beach and I took to Dr. Rattey when he was a newborn and she does not follow the Ponseti Method and she wanted to do surgery on him when he was 8 weeks old. Dr. Baynham is a great guy but also doesn't follow the Ponseti Method. The only Dr. in S. Florida who does follow it is Romano in Plantation. I took to him and things were going great until about a month ago when he started to relapse and Dr. Romano recommended surgery. I then got on a plane and took to Baltimore to see Dr. Herzenberg. He was able to fix the relapse with a cast for a month. Please do some research before you just " pick " a doctor. Take it from me... I used poor judgement and I have a 2 year old who just got out of casts from relapsing and is now having to go to physical therapy to learn to walk correctly. Someone said there was a good doctor in Orlando if you are willing to travel. Call me if you have any questions. We have been told that she has bilatteral club feet. I have been doing a lot of research and it looks like the ponsetti method is the best. While I would travel to Iowa if absolutely necessary, I would like to find a qualified doctor in Florida. I see that there are three on Dr. Ponsettis list, but I was hoping that some of you have taken your angels to these doctors and are able to give us some advice. I was referred to Dr. Theresa Rattey and Dr. Brett Baynham, but htey are not on the list and I am thinking they are just the " best known " around here....but want to take my daughter to get the absolute best treatment and if that means a little travel...that's ok. Guest guest
We see Dr. Herrera-Soto, who works with Dr. Price and Dr. Albright who are on the list. The three of them are AWESOME! They are located in Orlando. Not only do they know what they are doing, but they are super nice and pleasant to deal with. Their office staff is great too, as are their nurses. Great group all around. We wouldn't see anyone else, and would travel if necessary to see them (in fact, there are many patients who do travel to see them. I HIGHLY recommend them. The office number is . E-mail me if you have any other questions and congrats on the baby! Marcia Florida doctor recomendations Hi to all, I am 30 weeks pregnant with my first child...a baby girl!
