(Sometimes from the corn chips that he adores with salsa, but not from salsa alone.) As I recall, Megson had some theory about why pepper (the salsa kind, not the salt-and-pepper kind) is beneficial. I have also heard that spicy foods are good when you are fighting a cold, so maybe there is some anti-viral or anti-bacterial effect? But I don't really know.
