--Hi ,

I have a Zevex and it's not very loud. It's rented, and my insurance

pays for it.

If she moves around a lot at night the tube can be a problem. I've

found it wrapped around n's neck a couple times. yikes.

Some people tape it down their leg inside their pj's. Sleeping on her

stomach shouldn't be a problem. It can get pulled out during the night.

That's only happened once for us in three years. She can still swim and

play in the sand and all the other stuff.

Hi -

We also have a Zevex. Our insurance paid for the purchase. It's very

quiet lightweight and easy to use. Pippin is on Peptimin Jr. We get

a delivery 1x per month of formula, bags, mickeybutton, and

replacement extension set. I had the exact same questions about

swimming, sand box and sleeping.

We swim almost every day. With no problems. Pippin will also spend

hours in the sand box. No problem. We spend a lot of time at our

beach house and she spends all day in and out of the lake and in the

sand. This year she actually wanted to get buried in the sand! The

only thing is we always bath her when were done. She has never been

too terrible tangled at night. I check on the girls about 2-3 times a

night and just adjust her tube when it's tangled. I don't do any

taping or anything. In winter when we wear " fuzzie " pj's I have to

cut a hole in them so the tube can come out. You'll find you can't

use pj's or clothing with zippers.

Her little brother has tried to pull on her button a few times, but

she just moves his hands away and says " don't touch Baby Ryker. " She

is proud that she has 2 buttons in her belly and her big sister & baby

brother only have 1. Kids!

Hope this helps.

Thanks for all the information, it does help a lot, especially

hearing about the sand, Autumn is a sandbox baby and she also loves

mud, I dont' think I could ever keep her out of it.

It's so cute how Pippin loves having 2 buttons! Kids are precious!

Hi, Thanks for the information. Out of curiosity, how easy is it to be

wrapped around the neck? Sounds kind of scary? My youngest daughter

Summer (2 months) is on an apnea monitor at night and I run the wires

through her diaper tabs and down her legs through a hole I cut, but she

doesn't move around much, so no problems yet there, but I do worry

about Autumn doing something like that with the tube. Any tricks there

to prevent it and how dangerous is it or is it not?
