Guest guest
Lolita, You are very welcome. Regarding the GFCF diet, It would make sense that symptoms of an auto-immune disease would be lessened if the body does have a metal toxicity burden. Mercury could/can cause problems with the gut (and a whole lot of other things unfortunately), and being on a GFCF diet just might help her. Here is some information (see below) I found interesting that I passed along to my cousin recently. Best Wishes, Elsie (in TX) 1) There is a book that looks very informative that was published in March 2001. I read about it in Environmental Magazine (E-Mag). It is called " Reversing Multiple Sclerosis: 9 Effective Steps to Recover Your Health " by, Celeste Pepe, Hammond / Paperback / Hampton Roads Publishing Co., Inc. / March 2001. I previously looked it up at www.barnes & noble.com and it was only $17.05 (not bad). They also have some info on the webpage about it. 2) How old is your daughter? Does she have amalgam fillings? If she does, then I would definitely look at chelation info. There is a dentist, Hal Huggins that has written a book and other info about that connection (I can get more info for you on that if you want). 3) Also, here is a website that has a lot of papers regarding mercury effects. It is by Bernard Windham, a researcher that is very helpful and on the Autism-Mercury list. I have also looked at some of his info in regards to the MS connection. www.home.earthlink.net/~berniew1/ Re:MS and diet > Thank you for this.
