URGENT NOTICE ~AUTISM WALK RELOCATED!

The first ever National CapitalArea Walk F.A.R. for NAAR,

originally scheduled for Saturday, September 29,2001 on the

campus of the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, has

relocated to the Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Gaithersburg,

land, due to new stringent security procedures in place at

all federal facilities. We were able to re-locate only NINE days

before our walk. Now we have to ask you to help us get the word

out. Please, try to contact everyone you have talked to about

the walk to let them know that we will hold our walk just a few

short miles from our original site, and on the SAME date and at

SAME time. We are working to get a mailing out to all

pre-registered walkers as fast as possible, but e-mail and word

of mouth will speed the process mightily.

When:

Saturday, September29, 2001

Check-In: 9 a.m.

Walk: 10 a.m.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS

Directions to Fairgrounds Main Entrance ( Pkwy):

FromBaltimore: I-95 South to I-495 West to I-270 North, take Exit

11 (Montgomery Village/Fairgrounds); At next light make a right

onto Route 355 South; make a right onto Parkway; Fairground

entrance will be on the left; 1/2 mile.

FromFrederick: I-270 South, take Exit 11,(Montgomery

Village/Quince Orchard Rd.) then make left onto Montgomery

Village Ave. At next light make a right onto Route 355 South;

make a right onto Parkway; Fairground entrance will be on

the left; 1/2 mile.

From Northern Virginia: I-495 North to I-270 North,take Exit 11

(Montgomery Village/Fairgrounds); At next light make a right onto

Route 355 South; make a right onto Parkway; Fairground

entrance is on the left.
