Guest guest
Wow Janice, Ethan's foot looks to be really quite flexable from these pics....look how far out Dr. Colburn was able to get his foot for the first cast!!! That is just awesome!!! Really glad your appt. went so well, funny how we hear this time and time again (and it was also our personal experience) how much different/better the experience is with a Ponseti doctor. Our kids don't scream bloody murder and if they are upset, the doctor actually seems to care enough to either take a break, let you bf/give a bottle etc, the difference is amazing doncha think?! So looks like his foot is already past neutral, should be not too many casts for him to be brought to full correction....we are just so thrilled for you and Ethan! Guest guest
You know, now that you mentioned it, Dr. C was talking his resident through what he was doing and he did show him that one of the feet was in a more " neutral " position. I still have to get used to the lingo but I assumed that was a good thing. > > > > Hi Everyone! > > > > This past Tuesday, Ethan and I flew up to Northern Cal to meet up > with > > Dr. Colburn.
