Here is my site link for exemptions by state

Your school should have a waiver/exemption form you can fill out.

We're in CT and have used a religious exemption letter for vaccines

for the last two years with no challenge from school officials. We

got a rather official looking letter from Natural Hygiene, Inc in Mass

and their phone # is . They type your child's name,

school and town on it and it is signed by their president along with

listing their board members.

I think it costs a year's subscription ($20) to their journel which is

rather informative and $10 for the letter. I think they even faxed us

the letter one time.

The school has more of a tough time challenging religion but be

careful if you choose a medical reason that might be harder to defend.

Example: Egg allergies, what about all the vaccines that aren't egg

based. Our ex ped wouldn't even dream backing us on any medical

reason in fact she's the one who lead my son (us) down this road

diverting us from coming to a conclusion sooner that something was

wrong. Titers are good too. We found out that after the MMR (which

was the trigger) that he has antibodies for measles and mumps....so

medically he can be exempted from measles and mumps but that still

leaves rubella....so I would still stick with religion.

Good luck, Mike
