Hi all,

I try my best to read the boards but find little time to read or

post these days -- 34 weeks preggo with #4, moving to GA in 3

months, house here goes on the market here in 10 days, problems with

builders for new house, etc....

Anyway, to make life just a little less stressful had a

freak fall last Monday (3/13) which resulted in a non-displaced

greenstick fracture in her left tibia (her CF leg). It happened

when she turned around and her tennis shoe caught, she lost her

balance and fell. We made the trip to Baltimore to have Dr

Herzenberg's team cast her. She is in a full, straight-leg cast all

the way to her groin area. He expects her to be in the cast for

about another week, maybe two. Here's where I need help! She is

fine during the day. Doesn't complain of pain, scoots around or

crawls, etc. But at night it is AWFUL! She cries every time she

tries to roll over or moves at all. We are on night 6 of very

interrupted sleep which is affecting both me and her significantly.

I know somone here has had to have dealt with a cast or casts on a 2

1/2 year old. If you have any advice how to make her more

comfortable (besides the nightly doses of Motrin), I would be

immensely appreciative! BTW, she sleeps in a regular bed (bottom of

a bunkbed).
