They only dust the bigger canisters so the little boxes are safe. As for companys I ask if the product contains gluten or casien{explaining what each is} and then I ask about crosscontamination{if the product is made on the same line as foods that do contain gluten} and if the answer is yes I ask what there cleanig protocol is in between. I do email somtimes as it is faster. But I usually call-if the person answers to quickly-I call back again because I am never sure they even looked it up if they answer too fast.
