Guest guest
First, thank you all for your great responses! It's so nice to hear from others that have gone through this. We did take him to the dr on Tuesday, and despite the lack-of-shoes, Colin does NOT need any additonal casts. The dr said he could go a little longer without them, in order to give the heel a chance to finish healing. He is in the smallest of Markells, but then the dr mentioned the Ponseti shoes which might be easier. Are the shoes the same as the Ponseti? The Markells weren't too horribly expensive, but the orthopedic supply place is asking $1100 for the other shoes. This just seems like a lot!
