Update to: HELP! Markell shoes and a heel blister that is causing great pain

First, thank you all for your great responses! It's so nice to hear

from others that have gone through this.

We did take him to the dr on Tuesday, and despite the lack-of-shoes,

Colin does NOT need any additonal casts. The dr said he could go a

little longer without them, in order to give the heel a chance to

finish healing. He is in the smallest of Markells, but then the dr

mentioned the Ponseti shoes which might be easier.

Are the shoes the same as the Ponseti? The Markells

weren't too horribly expensive, but the orthopedic supply place is

asking $1100 for the other shoes. This just seems like a lot!
