I have a few

questions I hohpe you all can help me with. I had my surgery back in

april. I went through a phase, about a month or so, where I lost

quite a bit of hair. The hair loss has slowed down now and I am

wondering how soon I can safely have something done with it. I got a

perm and highlights just before my surgery and have had it cut since

then, but its really straight and needs a perm NOWWW!!!! I'm

afraid that I might lose a bunch more hair if I put chemicals on it.

Can any of you post ops give me an idea of how long you waited to get

perms etc? It also seems dry to me. I know that prescription drugs

and such can affect how your hair reacts to perm chemicals also. I'd

be interested in knowing if any of you experienced any of this and if

so, what would you suggest? Thanks for your input!

a,

I had my hair colored just before it began falling out and then again after

3 months. It was also very dry so what I found that worked was to try

different conditioners until I found one that tamed it a bit.....Biolage

seems to work pretty good.....so does the Pantene deep condtioner!

Oh....and get that blue bottle of Redkin condtioner you put in and leave

on......wonderful stuff! Go easy on the blow dryer and leave your hair just

a tiny bit damp so it doesnt get so dry....

Hugs, Judie
