CHAT:RAIN, RAIN GO AWAY!!!

ok enough is enough!! i know towards the end of the summer here in

nj we were lacking in the rain dept and things got really dry!! i

mean i havent mowed the grass since the middle of august, but i

think we have made up for it now!!

i was woke up this morning at 5am by johnathon coming into our bed

and i got up and went to the bathroom. i looked out the window and

the neighbor's front yard looked as if they had lake front

property!! so i went to check our basement, the sump pump was still

plugged in from this past weekend rain so i figured i had nothing to

worry about, WRONG AGAIN!!! the stupid thing got hung up and

couldnt kick on so there was 6-8 " of water in the basement!! the

pilot light was out on the water heater and it was about 1/2 " up the

furnance!!! fixed the pump, banged on the neighbors door (we live

in a 1/2 of double) only to find out that once again their sump pump

is either not working or they lent it out again, either way they

dont have one to use!!

called my mom to see if she needed to move her car because they get

flooded, to late my dad had woke up at 4am only to find that the

water was up to there yard already!! my mom had 1-2 " of water in

her car!! they luckly were still able to get both cars out but now

she has to get all the stinky water out of her car!! then they had

to wade back through the water to get back to their house, my dad is

on kemo and shouldnt even be out in that nasty water but there ever

so nice neighbors down the end of the street who all moved there

cars eariler never bothered to knock on their door to tell them the

water was coming up!!

what a day!!! and we are expect to get rain everyday possibly

through sat.!!!!
