Guest guest
Ours are at 60 degrees, too...came that way. I believe that is standard for the s. I have not touched them. Carol Degree of rotation on s Okay, I know this is a stupid question, but I am doubting myself... When 's s came a few weeks ago, they were sent to our house, FED-EX, already set up. I took it for granted that they were already set up exactly as they should be...She has been in them for a few weeks, and no problems. I noticed tonight that the little mark on the bottom was at 60 degrees (for both shoes). Shouldn't they both be at 70 degrees? Far be it form me to question how sets them up...but, I went ahead and changed the rotation to 70 (had to move the screw from the top hole to the bottom to do it), and she doesn't seem to be phased by it...Should I put them back where he had it, or just leave it (especially since she isn't bothered by it)? Guest guest
Our are 60, but only because Gabe fought with Ponseti during his last casting. Gabe couldn't tolerate 70 degrees, but Ponseti told me that 70 degrees would have been optimal. If she's ok with 70 degrees, I'd go ahead and keep them there. Guest guest
For some reason (I forget the reason, so sorry) Dr. Ponseti sets the s at 60 degrees. I think now, just automatically sets them up that way from the beginning. If you are unsure though, email Dr. Ponseti to verify where the shoes should be. Also, every child is different. My daughters have been reduced to 50 degrees on both feet. She also wears the s. HTH. cricketsmom05 wrote: Okay, I know this is a stupid question, but I am doubting myself... Guest guest
Dr. Ponseti told us they were to be rotated at 60 degrees, so that's where we've left them. But like another post said, every baby is different. I would email him to double check. Guest guest
My son has LCF and his shoes are set at 70 degrees for the left foot and 40 degrees for the right. faith slattery wrote: Our are 60, but only because Gabe fought with Ponseti during his last casting. Guest guest
I'd definitely email Dr. Ponseti. Like the others said, every child is different, so it's best to confirm with the Dr. regarding your child. Our s are set at 70 degrees for the right foot (RCF) and 20 degrees on the left. I had to put the shoes together myself since this is 's second pair. If you have to reset them, it looks like you're already a pro! > > Okay, I know this is a stupid question, but I am doubting myself... > When 's s came a few weeks ago, they were sent to our > house, FED-EX, already set up.
