Guest guest
Dawn, Where do you live? I live in Louisiana and just to brag we have beautiful 80 degrees weather right now. I would love to see some snow here sometime though. We hardly ever get snow and when we do it's only a couple of inches and the ground is so warm you can't really play in it. I heard on the news that we probably won't see snow this winter either. This morning a really thick frost on the car windshields and I see one car out front, dropping kids of at school, that has snow on it! They must live just out of town. UUUUUUGGGGGGG. Noah started day care yesterday ... he is going two half days a week. It was a referral from an assessment we had done on him last year. We had been mostly worried about his speech, but he has now had everything tested including gross, fine motors, and they thought it would be benefitial to him to spend a couple half days with other kids his age in a daycare setting where a resource teacher can also set up a plan for him. And so he can watch the other kids eating to encourage him to eat, which we know now probably won't make much difference. Guest guest
Hi Tammy, I live 3 hours north of Duluth, MN in Thunder Bay, Ontario Canada. We have seen snow in Sept and late into the spring. Debby joked (I hope) that when she had visited up here I think in June a guy said we had just had snow. I don't ever recall that, but I don't want to jinx myself either ... I envy you your 80 degrees! I like going south to the warm in Feb when I'm so sick of the snow but more so the cold. Guest guest
LOL Dawna I am so glad it's you and not me!!! We are getting a southernly wind today so it's bringing up warm air. But no luck tomorrow apparently. It was July 1988 that I was there and some guy said it had snowed the week before! How do your dog sleds work when there is only a bit of snow?????? (LOL LOL LOL---) Debby > > Just thought I would let you know that we had a nice wet snow last > > night. Guest guest
Oh Debby you are too funny! None of it stayed in the city anyway. I'm going to have to take a ride out of town to see if it stayed there ... it's nice and sunny now though. I think that guy was pulling your leg I have never seen snow in July lol! But that year, actually from 87 to 91 we lived in Toronto ... so I couldn't say for sure ... might have been a fluke. We have to have little wheels on the bottom of the skies of the sled for when the snow isn't quite deep enough. lol Dawna > > > Just thought I would let you know that we had a nice wet snow > last > > > night.
