Guest guest
I'm such a mix of european ethnitics (is that a word?), but there are MacLarens' on my mom's side in addition to the Romanian Gypsies and Prussians. We think English on my dad side, but as he was adopted, there is no family history. He was adopted by the Wilbur Sparks' family back in 1926 so Kris Sparks and I are very distant cousins. But, who would actually eat hagis? I'll eat oatmeal only when forced, and I surely won't put it into an animals stomach and boil it up. But, you know, we all have our preferences. I married a Samoan so now I get served all kinds of wacky and weird foods. Anyone ever eat raw sea urchins or Palasami? that's coconut cream mixed with spinich and wrapped in taro leaves and baked in the Umu (a pit dug oven). And what about baked breadfruit. boiled taro, boiled bananas or Kalua pig? Food is fun! I grew up on meat and potatoes, but in our house if you have Spam and rice, you have a meal. LOL!!
