Waking repeatedly during the night

Hi all,

My son is 10 months old now and wearing the shoes only when he sleeps

at night. However, he is a real mover at night, smacking the side of

the crib numerous times, getting stuck sideways, and I have also

caught him sitting on his knees multiple times as well screaming. So

my question is, If the crib isn't working out and a toddler bed is

unsafe at this time, what other options are out there? I have research

numerous avenues and have come up blank. Any suggestions?
