Guest guest
Hi Jodie, Her treatment went pretty well. The nurses had to start her IV and they didn't want to use a pedi. needle because her veins are so small so they used a NICU one, the only problem was they couldn't do a blood draw from it because it was so small and that the flushes really hurt because it was streaming high pressure from the little needle even though they were pushing it slow. Olivia was tough though and would say " I'm going to scream " . Then she screamed once and it was over. I'm so proud of all of our kids for being so brave and tough for all that they go through! I'm a whiner over stuff like that!!!! Leah > oh leah!! > that sucks!! but atleast you were so well prepared when you went there > and now have a game plan to fight for olivia's right to grow!! > hopefully with deb's help you can get this moving!! how did her OI > treatment go this last time? hang in there and good luck!! let us know > how it goes!!
