Guest guest
hi guys and gals, been away for a while, got a bit ebay crazed. got a few questions for ya. first background, ollie is my fourth child, first (and last as i'm being " done " ) with bilateral talipies. he was diagnosed after birth and treated straight away using ponsetti method. serial casting from day 4 for 6 weeks and then dbb since. he's now 5months old, in the last 6 weeks he's been haveing 1-2 hours out of his brace. we've had no problems as such so far apart from he got blisters once on his toe and kept pulling his feet out of his boots, but that was due to using thick socks, coz since putting him in thinner socks he doesn't do it hardly at all now. about 6weeks ago he started to roll over, which i thought was absolutly wounderful coz i didn't expect him to be doing as soon. even tho this is still about 4 weeks older than any of my other kids. question 1, he still can only roll over with his bar on, is this " normal " for a child with bi-talipies? question 2, when did everyone elses start moving around? question 3, because he's later with rolling, does it mean i should expect him to do other things later like sitting, crawling, etc?? thanks for any replies. haz of lincoln uk
