Need advice for traveling to NY

I need some expert advice about NY. I've decided that only Pippin &

myself will go. Ryker will just have to have some breastmilk from a

sippy cup or be miserable. He'll be 1 by then. I feel bad, but not

that much! (bad mom!) Anyway- I'm looking at Spirit Airlines, cheap

fares ---my question is this...they have a departing flight from

Laguardia at 4:30pm. Our appt is at 8:30am. Will that be enough

time? Or should we take the 8:45pm flight and not worry about the

time crunch. I'm leaning toward that, as I don't like to be rushed

and stressed out when traveling and don't mind spending time in an

airport. All you NY experts out there what do you think?
