Guest guest
Carole, What so many of the people who are looking at RNY don't realize is,... they don't all 'dump' because of sugar. Some are able to eat sugar with any problem whatsoever. I know this for a fact because one of my friends had the RNY in June, and she had some problems with sugar at first, and now she has none. Other people I have meet in RNY support meeting have also stated they have no problems with sugar either. So to pick RNY because you want to dump on sugar, is just not a valid reason. Guest guest
Carole, Deep Breath girlfriend. Seriously, I don't think you have said anything out of line and that either Jean or myself were responding to you. I think its the whole general RNY vs DS controversy. If you choose between the two, you do so for your own reasons, and the RNY sure wouldn't be my choice. All I was saying was that not everyone has the opportunity to choose betweeen two, and those who got stuck with the RNY were because that was the best thing in their universe at the time. That's all.
