Guest guest
I've already replied earlier to say that I was 34 when I had Maddie and it was my first pregnancy, for the record she was planned and I was pregnant within a month and haven't had any fertility problems or medication. She is not UPD7. I'm not surprised that mis-carriage and SGA are linked, particularly where the cause is genetic, I read that 1/10th of female children miscarried have 's syndrome. What I'm saying is that genetic problems are estimated to cause a high proportion of miscarriages. Interesting possible link with IVF & clomid, although it may be connected to higher probability of miscarriage. In other words people who have had many miscarriages may struggle to have children and need fertility treatment later for example due to age, rather than the explanation that clomid/IVF may cause RSS & miscarriage. Does anyone know what proportion of pregnancies are IVF in the US and what proportion to mothers taking Clomid, these may just be more common treatments than I had realised. Guest guest
I know we previously did a survey regarding how many mothers used infertility drugs etc. I don't remember the results. However, without knowing the percentage of the total population that uses infertility drugs we can't know how we relate.
