Brigitte,

Abby is on Nutren Jr. with Fibre which is the same thing as the Pediasure. She

had a problem the first day with constipation however I think that was more

related to she had not had a bowel movement in three days due to surgery.

Anyway, after the first day whatever it was from she has been fine. Abby has

been on this formlua since March 22nd.

Hope that helps. Good luck with the change.

Amy (mom to Abby-almost 5, RSS, gtube, gh; Tyler-3, nonRSS; Baby -due any

day)

Hi Everyone,

My daughter Bobbi is due to start on Pediasure with added fibre next

week (Starting off on 50% Pediasure & 50% Infatrini) Infatrini is her

formula she has been on a year now. I was wondering if any of you have

experience with the Pediasure/Fibre has it helped with constipation /

weight gain etc.

Hi Brigitte,

We have had Pedisure with and without fiber.

The pedisure did help with the weight gain. Mercedes began to look healthy,

like a toddler.

Eventually our GI doc still thought she didn't weigh enough and wanted to put in

a G-tube, even though her weight for her height was fine. Will I shouldn't have

listened. I gave her more pedisure and by the time we went to the convention

last summer, she was well over weight.

Yes. It put weight on.

Like your baby, she weighed about a pound per month of life at that age.

As for constipation, it is hard to say. Mercedes did not have any issues with

constipation with the pedisure of either with or without fiber.

measures) and 37 lbs/16.9-17.1 kg

Heloo,

Pedisure had helped a little with constipation however it did help with weight

gain. na has gained alot of weight on it they now have her cut down. She

was on at least 3 cans a day along with whatever we could get into her.( which

wasn't much.) She was 22.5 lbs( March 04) had her tonsils out and pedisure now

she was 30lbs last Thursday however she has been sick and last night she was 29

at the pedis. I started mixing her formula then gradually just pedisure then

mixing the pedisure with recipes for her to try. Some sucess but others not even

get to her lips too touch. The Gastro doctor wanted to try the pedisure before a

feeding tube, so as you see so far we have not had a tube. she is eating better

than before but not great. It takes a lot of patiences and trying. she is now

4.5 years and has been on it since 2. She was on Miralax for constipation. She

was off it for a while but it looks like we have might have to start it again.

Good luck
