Guest guest
Help! My son Rory has been wearing the Markell shoes and the Denis Brown Bar 23/7 for nearly 3 months now. The threads/teeth in one hole on the bar are now stripped and that shoe moves freely (e.g. the foot does not stay at the proper 45 degrees). We have put the stripped- hole side on his non-club foot to avoid regression on his club foot. Here are my questions: 1. Through our orthotics company, Markell has told us that we were not supposed to take the shoes on and off of the bar. And removing the shoes caused the stripping of treads/teeth. We were never told this in the start, have you heard this? 2. Insurance won't cover a replacement because it's too soon. Anyone else had a fight with insurance over faulty products? 3. Markell is saying it's out of warranty so they won't replace it for free. Anyone else encounter this? I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who has had similar problems. Thank you, & Rory rcf (b. 11/2/05)
