Guest guest
Hi Debi, is close in age to , and we just started having both measurements taken this last year. We have them measure length to keep on eye on 's asymmetry. I usually hold his head, and then his Dr measures his R-side, then his L-side, and then repeats this twice more. We then " average " the three measurements for each side. Believe it or not, they are usually different almost every time! We then have his height measured, and the difference is about the same as what you got, between 1.5-2cm!! For his weight we have always insisted that he be measured butt-naked. They look at us as though we're crazy, but as long as we insist, they'll usually do it our way. This will probably end when he's potty trained and wearing underpants that are much lighter than his diaper. One thing I don't like about having him weighed and measured at our Endo's office is that the scales are in view of the " public " waiting room! What are we going to do as gets older and more self-conscience??? Pat (g-ma to , RSS, 3 yrs 6 months old, 23#, 33 " , G-tube, GHT)
