Could a fever be a sign of infraction?

My 2 year old son's speech therapist was out sick yesterday. He is

the one that oversees what snacks my son has. I gave snacks

specifically for him to the substitute and she is aware of the diet

but I am wondering. Last night he came down with a fever. He was

his usual happy self but lower in energy. He shows no other sign of

sickness. He is usually quite healthy. He has only had 1 ear

infection before. I don't think he caught anything from the

therapist because he has not seen him since last Friday. Nobody else

in the family is sick. That is why I was thinking that maybe it was

an infraction. Could that be?

I am thankful to this group because since my son is usually healthy,

I have not checked into medication. It was 11pm when I felt how hot

my son was. There was no time to check into the GFCF status on fever

reducers. I was so glad I had recently read a post about purple

Tylenol being OK. I had some in the bathroom and felt relieved to

know. I didn't want to compound his problem.
