Still no solid BM's

The main reason I put my 2 year old, autistic son on the GFCF diet is

because he never had solid BM's. He started the diet Sept 14 - cold

turkey. The 3rd day on the diet he finally did. That did not last

long though. I heard that sometimes when we start to substitute

foods, allergies come into play. I had him tested for allergies and

they came up with a whole bunch of things. He has been off

everything he tested allergic to for 2 weeks now. Still no solid

BM's. What should the next step be? My pediatrician thinks it is

caused by juice. When I stopped nursing he tried milk and soy a few

times but was not interested. I never pushed it. He exclusively

drinks juice but I dilute it about 50/50. I would never give him

Koolaid because of the artificial colors. He only drinks water if it

is out of my sports bottle but if I give it to him, he will squirt

the water all over the place. Not good for electronics. I was

thinking of trying Auntie s Tropical Punch Drink. Is it any

good? Would this give the desired effect if in fact the juice is

causing the diahrea. I think this change will be more traumatic for

my son than going GFCF. He is so attached to his juice. It was his

first word. After trying the juice I will probably look into the

yeast issue. He is already off yeast as that was one of his

allergens. I also cannot go anywhere further with his pediatrician

until I can tell her that I tried removing the juice. Any words of

wisdom will help.
