Hi,

I don't know Graydowney from any other lists, but perhaps she is a fat

acceptance person who doesn't want anyone to have any WLS. From some posts by

those who do read her on other lists it sounds as though she plays both ends

against the middle.

And, to Graydowney--is it ?--I accepted my fat, still do, but I just can't

live with the side effects any longer. If you really want SOME type of WLS what

is the real problem leading to your contentious posts--indecision, insurance,

fear of the unknown, grief over the thought of losing food as a defense

mechanism, non-supportive significant others? Whatever it is, Nick is right,

therapy can help, woman. Take control of your life!

Happy to have found Nirvana (aka BPD/DS),

I've learned--that it's not what happens to people

that's important. It's what they do about it.

Argue for your limitations,

and sure enough, they're yours.
