I have had such a smooth operation and recovery (to date - hoping it will continue - I'm almost 11 months out). My body adjusted incredibly well to the new arrangement. Sure, I was tender the first few weeks and have experienced bad bouts of gas, but it is not a common occurance by any means. I honestly say that I am often not aware that I had such a major rearrangement of my digestive system. It is really incredible for me. So, yes -- there are some of us out there. I think we are statistical abberations and I wish everyone could experience such a recovery. All the best, TEresa lap ds with gallbladder removal January 25, 2001 Dr. GAgner/Mt.
