Guest guest
Hi all, I joined the list & introduced myself a couple of weeks ago. Since then, we implemented the gfcf diet, which really hasn't been that hard, since ds was mostly dairy-free -- and one of our local hfs has a huge amount of gfcf products. We had one infraction a couple of days into the diet which was totally my fault. DS (3.5, pdd, dsi & apraxia) seems to be concentrating more at school, but at home he was acting like a loon - totally hyper, not listening to us, perseverating on some activities, and he also did some headbanging, which we haven't seen in ages...on the plus side, he's not obsessed with the tv and yesterday he said " mom " , " mama " and " hey " (words he used to have but lost, he is nv). I haven't noticed a great change in his sleeping, but he has an ear infection so it's hard to tell what's what. I'm wondering if it's typical to have some regressive behavior with some progress at the same time. I also have a food question - I have hain's safflower mayo in the fridge and one of the ingreedients is " grain vinegar " . Anyone know what that is? Their help line is closed over the weekend. Thanks, Jen
