Guest guest
Like many of you I am in the process of wrapping my son's mattress and getting the right bedding and PJs. I read in one of the e-mails that I should leave a breathing space at the bottom of the mattress to allow fumes to escape and, because of this, I should keep the room well ventilated. I live in a cold climate and since winter is approaching, keeping the windows open at night is not an options. I was wondering about using an air purifier. I don't know if they help with chemical fumes--has anyone tried this? Also, is the danger more from inhalation or absorbtion through the skin (i.e., if my son were in a room with an unwrapped mattress, but not on it, would this pose the same threat)?
