Guest guest
Jodi, I am sure Max is having a tough time with this, but tell him to hang in there! I think that his situation is very common for teenagers, especially with a first job. Do the managers know al about Max? I wouldn't want him to get preferential treatment because of all of his past issues, but it might be helpful for them to know about his history. They might be inclined to be a little more understanding then if a problem arises. Kim C.
Guest guest
Well, between you and me, I did tell the manager Max is a special needs child - but that he is having no health problems anymore. That may or may not have been a good idea, but it just slipped out. I was trying to tell him abotu how much Max love this job and how proud of himself he is. He had no idea and I did not elaborate. I just assured him that health would not be an issue. No precautions are necessary. Just don't tell my husband. He will flip! He's already not crazy that I talked to him in the first place.
