Guest guest
Wow, I have not posted or been on here in awhile. It sounds like the convention was a great success. We welcomed baby #3 into our family on July 1st. Dean was born after 32 hours of labor. Yuck!! Abby and Tyler are the best big sister and big brother. Abby went for a checkup today with the almighty doctor. Dr. E is not pleased with her progress. She weighed 25.3 pounds and was 36 1/2 inches tall. She has hit a plateau and he said we need to change some things. I expressed our frustrations with the feeding tube over the last two months. The formula will not go in. He gave us some things to try during the day and then at night we are going to try a pump. The pump is being delivered tomorrow and I am not sure what to think about trying it. If anyone has suggestions of how I can keep Abby from getting tangled up in the tubing, let me know. Abby starts Pre-K tomorrow. She is so excited about going but I know she will not let go of my leg when I drop her off. Tyler also starts the Mom's Day Out program tomorrow...freedom for four hours- what to do what to do. Life is staying busy. I am leading two Hurricane Relief efforts here in our county. One is going to a church in Shreveport, Louisiana and the other to four families in Mississippi that a friend of mine knows. The families are currently here in Indy staying until they can begin rebuilding, which is not expected to be for awhile. If anyone has any baby items: diapers, clothes, wipes, desitin, bottles, sippy cups, bibs, formula, baby water, etc-the church is in desparate need. I would be happy to forward the church info on to anyone. My thoughts and prayers go out to anyone with family and friends in the southern states. I hope to get back on here more now that the kids will be back in school. I will also be posting new pics in the next couple of days. Sincerely, Amy Nickol (Abby-5 yrs, RSS, growth hormones, feeding tube, prevacid; Tyler-3 1/2 yrs, non-RSS wild child; -2 months, non- RSS, cute as a button)
