Pictures Dr. Ponseti likes to see for diagnosis

This was an email sent some time ago from Dr. Ponseti regarding what pics he

likes to see........he also would probably like to see a pic of the soles of the

feet as well.

" The views I would like to see are her standing from the front and from the

back in her bare feet on a hard surface (not carpet). I would like

to see from her knees down. Also have her lie on her back and keep

her knee straight while you place the palm of your hand against her

foot and gently push the foot up into dorsiflexion. Take a side

view of her each foot in this position. Does she have bilateral

clubfeet or is only one foot involved? "
