I got a call from my internist. I tested positive for h pylori. That

means that even though those stubborn GI docs have not called me with

Max's results, he has the infection, too, and we both need to be

treated. I can't get an appt. until Oct 18 with a GI, but the nurse

was really nice and said to call back on Tuesday at 4 and if they are

slow, I can run in there. I intend to do that.

At least now I know why my stomach hurts, why my throat burns and why

I get this nausea so often. It makes sense.

Will this ever end?
