Have they told you to increase your fluid intake? I have read some studies

which state that amniotic fluid can be increased with an increase in fluid

intake by mom. It certainly is not harmful to try and drink more water, anyway.

Hi all I have a question

First off good morning to all. I have a question and it's a little off

base of club foot. I had and ultra sound done yesterday and they say

my fluid is low. It should be about 10 and mine is around 8.9. It has

been this way for severql weeks now. So inturn they are talking about

induceing me early. I was wondering if any of you have had this

problem while pregnant with your club foot child. I'm just wondering

if this is a side affect of a child born with club foot. I'm only 33

weeks along. I go for another ultra sound noxt monday and most likely

every week their after until they dicide to indue me. Any respone

would be helpful. Thanks alot.

I actually had the exact opposite problem, and was scheduled for an

ultrasound at 34 weeks to find out. My water broke at 33 weeks

though. We didn't know Aleksander had clubfoot before he was born, so

I am not sure if it had anything to do with it or not.

My daughter, Kelsey, was induced at 38 weeks due to low amniotic fluid as well.

She does have a clubfoot but I have never been given any indication that there

is a connection. Please feel free to email me if you have any other questions.
