Fundraiser in the CHICAGO area!

Well, now that the cat is out of the bag that I had a weekend

away........one of the reasons was because I'm hoping to put together

a fundraiser in the Chicago area in March and the person who went with

me is going to help me! (Good thing too since she's completely

obsessive about being organized!)

I was going to wait to share the news with everyone until I got more

things accomplished........but, no better time than the present!

I'm really excited - and this being a big project, it has been a

little stressful with having two little ones at home - especially

since the event will be in another state than where I currently reside!

Anyway.....I already have a venue and a caterer - both of whom have

agreed to host the event free of charge. Now I'm working on the guest

list, the silent auction items and the raffle items. I am totally

open to suggestions, ideas and " offers " for this area - so, please

feel free to spill your beans. I've been so incredibly busy lately

with doctors, dentists, preschool bake sales (100 cup cakes the other

day)my husband being out of town, and people in and out of my house

that I haven't even had the time until this last weekend to do

anything! With the holidays coming up - I really need to get going

again.

So, there it is.....if you are interested in helping, offering

suggestions or advice........I'd love it!
