Fill up your tanks tonight!

Jodie Cals and I were talking on the phone a few minutes ago - and I

saw this on the news.... The price of gas is supposed to rise at

least 18 cents per gallon by tomorrow morning. This was confirmed by

the gas station attendant I just saw. Then, over the weekend, they

are predicting that it will go up another 20 cents.

I know this is a political statement, so I'm sorry if I offend anyone,

but it has to be said: President Bush, DO SOMETHING!!!!! We are not

earning more money to make up for the fast rise in gas prices. The

government has got to step in and try to stop this hemorrhaging.

Here I am, about to go back to school where I already spend hundreds

of dollars of my own money for my students, and I go through over a

tank a week just to commute. I'm going to be spending over $200 a

month on gas just to go to and from work.

Okay, I'm off my soapbox. Now, go fill up your tanks!!!
