Guest guest
I just wanted to post to say hello and to tell everyone how much I appreciate them. Since we are new to this, there is so much I don't know and so many questions that I have. I have gained so much insight from this support group and have been enlightened to issues that I didn't even realize WERE issues. I like many of you don't always post when I'm on, but I am usually there reading at least a couple of times a week. Our update on Crosby is that he is doing fine. Getting into everything (especially the dog's water bowl). He has been pulling up on things and is now cruising. He will also stand unassisted for a few seconds. I think he will be walking by the time we go to convention. I am really looking forward to it! (Convention that is! Walking...It is certainly a milestone to celebrate, don't get me wrong, but with mixed blessings! I think he's into everthing now- just wait!) When he went to the ped. for his one year I mentioned RSS to him and he didn't even blink an eye. I told him about our plans to go to convention and meeting with Dr. H. He was very supportive and said that he would not be a bit surprised if we got a diagnosis for RSS. He was very knowledgeable about it, and that is one reason we love him so. He seems to be very knowlegeable about anything I ask him. If you're ever vacationing down here in Hilton Head, SC. and need a ped. his name is Lance Lowe at Palmetto Pediatrics. There are two other drs. in the practice but I would ask specifically for him. It is always nice to know of a good dr. if you're away from yours! Again, thanks to everyone for thier advice and information that you may not have even known I was getting from you! See you at convention! Mom to Crosby - 1 yr.,SGA, suspected RSS, 24 lbs. 25.5 inches, smiley, happy, precious boy, and Amelia - 2 1/2, cat lover, tantrum thrower, sweet angel!
