1. BINGO!

2. See a doc. Get an order for an ultrasound exam presumptive for gallstones.

3. Hop on the cholecystectomy bandwagon if positive.

It doensn't to me. Back then, describing my gallstones as annoying

would have been a dream. It was incredibly painful.

The best thing you can do is talk to your doctor :)

I had the same thing preop. It was a good " reason " to get my

gallbladder ultrasound, and an upper endoscopy done preop and have it

covered by insurance.

They didn't find anything, however when I had my surgery in Spain, I

had a liver biopsy and have stage 3 steatohepatitis(fatty liver), I

think my liver was starting to send me the warning signal.

Pammi>>>>

you got lucky, Pammi! Mikes cousin now has liver failure and needs a

transplant asap.....fatty liver can progress to NASH which is a whole other

story!

Liane can explain more about that but if she had known about the surgery 2

yrs ago NASH might not have happened and she wouldnt be as sick as she is

now......so, count your blessings.
