Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I have some business that needs addressing. I'll try and be brief. First photos, my favorite subject. There are now lots of photos in the photo section. If you can, please remove any photo that has been there for more than a year. Also, when you post a photo, please delete the full size (high resolution) portion of your photo. This often takes up over a meg of space and we only have 30 meg to use. Second, subject lines. When you reply to a message and change the subject, please change the subject line. Many people get messages in a daily digest form and by not changing the subject, they get some really big messages that have only a little piece of information they need. So, if you can, please change the subject line when you change the topic. Also, I do have a couple of guide lines for subjects. No hard and fast rule. When you want to discuss day to day stuff unrelated to RSS please use the word CHAT in the subject line. For example: CHAT -- Yankees are losing !!! When you are really upset or mad about insurance, doctors, relatives, schools, the world or me, please use the word VENT in the subject line. For example: VENT -- School not following I.E.P. Please keep in mind that this is a bulletin board. Any message you post is read by almost 600 people (599 on weekends when I'm out with my son). So if there is something you would like to keep private, you might want to respond directly and not through the list. Last, try to think of this as a party with 600 people and you are trying to talk to the person on the far side of the room and as more people join the party, the volume is getting louder. By the way, who's bringing the food, I'm hungry. Thanks for you cooperation. Ken M moderator
