Good News and no longer bummed out

About four weeks ago I wrote that I was not losing weight as fast as my doc

wanted me to and asked for advice. Boy did I receive advice from this

group. I took all the advice to heart and started eating more protein, more

fat and even more protein. I am happy to report that in the last 4 weeks I

have lost 15 pounds. I didn't climb on the scales and decided not to worry

about it all. The middle of November I joined Curves gym and have been

going semi-religously. Today they took my measurements and weighed me. I

now weigh 249 (under 250 finally and down from a 304 start weight) and in

the 2 weeks that I have been going to the gym I have also lost 7 inches. So

I feel pretty good and wanted to share with all of you.

Thanks for the support and encourgement along the way. I will continue to

eat lots of protein and fats.

A MO lady in my church last night was feeling sorry for me because we had a

get together to decorate and all I was eating was cheese (and avoiding the

cookies). Then when I told her what my " regular " diet was like she decided

that she no longer had to feel sorry for me. Maybe one day she will

consider this life saving surgery. She seems to be very interested in my

results.
