Guest guest
-hI sHERYL, We just got back from 's pediatric appointment (next week is Dr.H. so my info will be more precise then..but we are still thrilled with his progress. even if the ped's measurements are off by a bit!) HEre's the gist of his growth: At age 3, was below the 3rd percentile. HE started GHT at 3.5 Age 4.5: 10th percentile (Also on Periactin) Age 5: 20th percentile Age 6: 30th percentile age 7: 40th percentile age 8: 60th percentile!!!!!(although, I don't completely trust the nurse's measurements. We'll see what Dr.H. says on Monday). Dr.H. says she can feel his muscle tone improving, but it's hard for me to notice it..I know that he is just overall much healthier, seems to be able to run longer, can now walk down stairs alternating steps, and the big thing: he used to not be able to swim because his legs/arms got really tired. HE's a really good swimmer now. Of course, we'll never know how much of this is just genetic, how much of it is due to his natural growth, how much of it is due to better eating/nutrition....And, if we stopped the GHT, would he 'plateau' again???? The million dollar question! Katy (I'm 5'6 " ..My husband is 6'). -- In RSS-Support , " olifraz " <olifraz@m...> wrote: > > I was wondering how quickly you see height results from the GH.
